Couldn't Find Help... So, I Just Went For It!

This is my second time back here. I'm pleased to report that since my last post (about 2 weeks ago) I have successfully posted and awarded a job to my first virtual assistant through elance.com. I'm extremely happy about this because I strongly believe that it will open up doors for me that I still can't even imagine.

Here is my life in a nutshell on my most recent Facebook update:

NOAH KAPLAN wants to find a way to easily handle and excel at the 4 different goals/ongoing projects in my life: 1) Developing my Rock/Electro Band, 2) Making my Non-Profit Sustainable (NCV), 3) Developing my new company: Dynamic Mixologist, 4) Looking for work vis-a-vis direct and more purposeful networking.

Clearly, there is a need for some assistance given this mess of activities I've decided to put on my plate. But, I don't think I'd want it any other way. For right now in my life, I want to be tugged in all 4 directions. I need it. Otherwise, it wouldn't be exciting enough.

...maybe if I had a girlfriend, things would be different. But I don't have one. And that's totally alright. I'm going to get the most out of living in NYC as possible.

Stress, fatigue and more of this type of shit can be alleviated by active meditation and the occasional silent weekend retreat to Ithaca, NY... (I'm going this weekend).

Don't get me wrong -- I'm no stranger to the enjoyment of solitude, quiet places, sun, water and all of the other natural elements that seem to disappear while living up a fantasy life in NYC. As a matter of fact, I really do crave it. But I need a balance. I like my life to be somewhat hectic and then somewhat calm.

Anyway, I'm going to go to bed now.
